Description
A traditional earthenware irrigation pot used for centuries to water plants naturally and efficiently.
The unglazed clay allows water to slowly seep through the porous walls of the pot, delivering moisture directly to plant roots where it is needed most. Once buried in the soil and filled with water, the olla releases moisture gradually as the surrounding soil dries, helping plants stay hydrated while reducing water use.
This simple method keeps soil evenly moist and encourages deeper root growth, making it ideal for vegetable gardens, raised beds and container plants.
How to Use
-
Bury the olla in the soil leaving the neck above ground.
-
Fill the pot with water.
-
Cover with the lid to reduce evaporation.
-
Refill every few days depending on weather and plant needs.
